1978 Chrysler NewportReview
The Boat — 17 and a half feet long and six feet wide, it truly was a boat on the highway. I loved it for it's time and place in my life, but I really wouldn't want to have to drive it today. A classy, classic vehicle with enough room in the trunk to fit a smart car or fortwo.
Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
Pros: A living room on wheels, the biggest boat on the highway, a great first (or second) car...
Cons: Had one of the first computers in a car, expensive to repair, gas mileage was rated in gallons per mile...
