Definately A Sleeper — i bought this car used for only $700 dollars and i consider that to be a bargain, it had a stock 350ci, 4bb, 350 turbo tranny and posi-trac rear end, only car i have ever had that would break loose the back tires at 75mph!!! car also had a lot of room in the interior, enough for me to sleep in either the front or rear seats by laying across them. only true down side was the fuel economy, i was lucky to get 14mpg on the highway and that was even when i drove it nice and conservitly, might have gotten 6 or 7mpg in the city. good car for beginners or for someone that wants to have a true sleeper car Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: lots of room inside, could do a standing power burn for a full minute Cons: very thirsty for fuel, had a 4bbl ![]() Looking for a Used Caprice in your area?CarGurus has 80 nationwide Caprice listings starting at $7,500. |

1977 Caprice Classic — My new Caprice, bought it back in November 2009. Looking forward to restoring this car. This summer should be fun in that sense. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: New 350, new dual exhaust, lots of edelbrock engine ugrages Cons: needs interior work and minor TLC elsewhere. |

Not For The Ones Who Think Of Cars As A Mode Of Transport Only. This One Has Soul! — A house on wheels! comfort is unparalleled! Built like a rock, stable even at 140! Rear seat passengers were reading a book and didnt even notice it was doing 140kmph! Just wish I can find a good V8 for it, the 3000cc diesel engine doesnt pull at all :( Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Comfort Cons: Spare Parts unavailable |

My Car Is All Red With Stock Hub Caps. — With a few modifications to the engine, suspension, and drivetrain, this car can be a real performance vehicle. The styling has stood the test of time with its classic lines and thanks to the aftermarket, very customizeable. Pros: Very reliable as a daily driver and comfortable on long trips. Cons: Problems with oil leakage through valve covers. |
