1972 Volvo 144Review
I Love It, Sure I Wish It Were Still Fuel Injected, And Had The Original Green Paint, But I Love It. — The car is a blast, I love it. As far performance, I wish the idiot that had it before me would have left it fuel injected. Instead it has SU carbs. It was originally cypress green, and the same moron spray painted it red. I just bought the car for $550, and it only has 78,000 original miles. It's only been getting 15-20 mpg in town, because i need to get the carbs adjusted until I can afford better ones. The spray paint actually looks pretty god, but I would prefer the original paint, and the interior is in good shape, but reminds me of an ugly suit at Goodwill, but an expensive ugly suit. I named the car Grumpy, and we all love him.
Primary Use: Family transportation
Pros: it's fun, it's big, it's safe, and it's classic.
Cons: I can't think of a reason to avoid a Volvo...maybe just the driver.
