Big, Comfortable Cruiser. — I like big Fords and the 1972 Galaxie 500 is a great example of a large, comfortable cruiser. Purchased from original owner, completely original. Modern radial tires and quality shocks enhance the handling and comfort. Reliable, smooth and roomy. Good looking, well built and not often seen these days. Won't smoke the tires but lots of potential for upgrades to increase power. Good resources available and relatively easy to find parts. Great club support. Can find nice, clean examples without breaking the bank.

Pros: Large, comfortable cruiser.

Cons: Lack of power.

1972 Ford Galaxie Review

A Big Car With Tons Of Room. Could Stretch Out On Back Seat (for A Nap). — a tank. lousy handling, low powered 351 Windsor engine. However, you could load her to the gills and she would cruise. Trailer towing was good.

Pros: room. Party in trunk.

Cons: poor gas mileage, low power.

The gas is a bit spendy, the breaks are touchy, gas gauge needs a bit of work, and there are a few dings here and there, but not too much of a problem, but this car will get every ones attention ;) Read More

Gorgeous Luxury By HarvardBlue
