1970 Audi 100Review
Automobiles Anonymous — Looking for some cheap transportation I wrestled this one from a car dealer that wanted to get rid of some inventory. Like many German cars of this time it was pretty well put together, but didn't like the climate in Sweden very much ... it rusted. Otherwise it was a roomy and well handling car with enough engine power to make it a nice drive. It was quite boring looking though, painted beige. I swapped it for a 1973 Ford Granada GXL rather soon.
Pros: Nice drive
Cons: Not for winter

Avoid old Audis like the plague--they will bleed you dry. This 100 sedan featured a 2.3 liter 5-cylinder engine-- all the pickup of a Chevette with the fuel economy of a Suburban. Repairs were ungodly... Read More
