Mg Infatuation — I love my MG, in a wierd and deeply confusing way.. I bought it a few years ago, when I was 19, and it barely ran. I've replaced the engine, cooling, steering rack, rear axle, wheels and a good chunk of electrics. So not an Ideal situation for you're only mode of transport, but it's how I fell in love. This car has so much to give, its beautiful, a classic british icon, sounds fantastic, and is amazingly simple to work on. Also, they made 15 milliion of them, so theres plenty of spares!

Pros: cheap and beautiful

Cons: old. Very, very old.
