Awesome American Muscle — Awesome car from the height of the american made muscle cars. The Camaro was one of the better handling american cars of the day, earning the nickname 'The Hugger' becasue of its road hugging abilities.

Pros: Looks, staright line performance

Cons: none

1969 Camaro — My first car, 1969 Camaro SS clone, or will be. In the pics is my new 350 will put in it and has a Muncie 4 speed

Pros: great motor, runs great, original interior, slick solid car, mechanically sound.

Cons: I have to replace the quarters and fenders, need trunk pan, header panel.

Nice Lines, Good Engine, Passable Trans — loved the look and sound, didn't mind the mileage back then as gas was under a buck a gallon. It didn't turn too well, unless the road was wet then the posi would spin it no sweat, not always when or where you wanted though. Typical GM though, rust above the wheel openings.

Pros: looks

Cons: rust,handling

A Dream! — 5 years of blood, sweat, and tears went into this car, but it is all worth it, to get it done right! Switched to disc brakes, powered by a 350 small block, 3 speed automatic, custom alum. exaust with Flowmasters, replaced convertible top...

Pros: Beautiful, great sounding car, handles great for the year car, probably better than original since it has been switched to disc brakes...

Cons: Can't drive it more than I already do, without risking insurance problems!

Great Muscle Car, One Of The Best Looking And Very Fun To Drive — Great performing muscle car with great lines. Mine was very similar to the one in the picture, except whilte and blue. My mom bought the car after graduating community college. What a blast to drive in high school! It was a base model 307 automatic. Future garage plans include a black and white 1967 SS Camaro and a midnight blue matalic and black 1969 Corvette. Optimal versions of the vehicles would have state-of-the-art suspension and drive train.

Pros: great lines, tons of fun

Cons: needs modern suspension and drive train

Amazing... — The looks you get in this are amazing. I only drove it for about 15 minutes but every single person I passed stared and the majority asked me all about it.

Pros: Beautiful old car. Amazing speed and acceleration from the big block. Straight line speed is what it's all about.

Cons: Poor braking and steering.

Good Old American Muscle — Performance - Good old American Muscle... enough said Build quality - its the reason I got a cell phone (tends to not start at times). What do you expect its 40 years old. Appearance - If you don't love the menacing in your face look than you need to look somewhere else. Cost of Ownership - Luckily parts are cheap and everywhere so maintenance isn't a problem and if you are worried about the mpg's then this car isn't for you (8/12). Fun factor - just take one for a spin...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: 1/4 mile in 12 sec

Cons: nothing to hate

"The lines are amazing on the 69...even more so than the 68 or the 70. The Camaro is beautiful but not even close to the 1969 Mach"
