The Spitfire — the car is dog slow it takes 13 seconds to even hit 60 i have a 1980 firebird that will go half mile in 13 seconds lol but its a good slow car it gets good mpg and its a convertible and a 3 speed stick shift its all around fun if you like going slow lol Pros: its not seen that much around Cons: very slow ![]() Looking for a Used Spitfire in your area?CarGurus has 19 nationwide Spitfire listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

Fantastic Fun — great to drive especially if you have long legs. Everything is in your field of vision, so you don't have to take your eyes off the road. Everything in easy reach. The car is really moulded around you, like a fighter plane. Pros: style, appearence, and 42 MPG Cons: watch the back end, has a tendancey to tuck a wheel under and put you in a spin if you corner too fast |

If You Are Willing To Spent Your Cash! — The Spitfire is a little gem to behold, but be prepaired! the suspension system is similar to the late 70's early 80's Skodas -and spareparts from other places than the UK are hard top obtain, and its been 12-15 years since i sold her with the 3thd engine upgrade..... but thats another story... Pros: A classic! sharper than the MG Cons: not fast, get the GT-6 with Rotoflex, and begin to wcheck your Strombergs |

Great Fun But Awful To Drive — A great little run-around. Bit of an old ladies sportscar but still good fun. Drove all the way to Cape Wrath and down to Doncaster. It got nicked once but was returned in one piece. Exhaust fell off. Pros: Overdrive, softtop Cons: Poor brakes, wonky suspension, weak chassis |
