Head Turner — it was a fun car to drive but hard to get parts to maintain it. not meant to be a daily driver like I did!

Pros: easy to pick up guys/girls. sweet ride

Cons: afraid to scratch it or do anything to it. hard to get original parts

Black Beauty. — It's a Mustang. And it's gorgeous. It's soon to become a project car, as we plan to drop a V8 and possibly a 5-speed transmission in it, as it is only a straight 6 automatic right now. The air conditioning is not factory, but it is factory style. Reupholstered interior looks great. Rides well and low, has a great sound. The rear tires are fatter so it's a little harder to drive on country roads because it rocks in the grooves, and the drum brakes are warped and need to be replaced. However, I LOVE THIS CAR.

    Pros: Classic car
    Black, good exterior
    Nice interior
    Great sound
    Great smell, too

Cons: Muscle-car mileage is never amazing
    Straight 6
    Automatic

Best Car Ever Made — I've owned my pony since 2/81. I am the 3rd owner. Dont know much of the 1st owner, 2nd owner - man bought it for his wife, she wanted a cadillac, he got her one & traded in the pony. She was treated badly & needed alot of work. During the years I've worked on it-it's easy to work on. She's a pleasure to drive & I always get a thumbs up from admirers. She's Ivy green, with a black vinyl top & interior. She's my "lady".

Great Car — I bought this car new and have driven it continualy every sence. It is a 1966 Mustang Fastback GT K-code with Rally-Pac and 4 speed. It is stock and still goes great. I had the car repainted in 2004 to the original color. Hubert Smith

Best Thing New In The Mid-60s — Car cost $2,600 new. Light, quick, fun and 16 mpg. Great color was Sautern Gold. Back seats were impossible for any thing other than small kids. The CruisOMatic transmission was less than steller. Great car for the time when regular gas that cost 27 cents per gallon!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Fun, fun, fun

Cons: Long hood that was difficult to see the road at the crest of a hill. Also, a 50 pound bag of sand in the trunk for traction in snow.

Found In A Pasture. (see Last Photo) — In Missouri our winters are too rough to drive a car like this very much. I drive it to car shows some, but it is detailed to the point it is much better and far less labor intensive to trailer it. I was 16 in 1966 and I just don't remember my 1965 Mustang's steering being this stiff, or riding this rough. But then at 16 I wasn't much thinking about the ride of the Mustang either.

Pros: This car will score 99 to 100 points at most car shows.  Is a good Silver at a concourse show. Super car, fun to drive, especially with the top down.  It is completely restored bumper to bumper, and complete drive line overhaul.

Cons: Can't take it anywhere like McDonalds, and leave it in the parking lot without sweating blood.  Have to drive it monthly, or risk unnecessary maintenance - ethynol eats up rubber parts in carb, and fuel pump, and don't forget starting occasionally to circulate the anti-freeze or you wil lbe buying radiators and heater cores.  If for show only, I suggest blocking off the heater core.
