A Project — It gave me 10 years of service. It will be my retirement project. It will receive a "frame off" restore. I will probably put in a 350 engine, auto transmission, PS, and AC. I have not decided for sure on the color, but it will be different and awesome.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Classic  vehicle, step side, almost bullet proof, I drove this truck 10 years

Cons: It needs the engine re-built. It has a 6 cyl. 3 speed. Underpowered and no PS.

Enjoyed A Classic For 10 Years And Made A Profit —

Something about cruising a beautiful old Chevy makes you feel like you are on top of the world. When people looked at you it was more staring at you until you get out of sight. You can open the foot vents and angle the vent windows, and get this great breeze blowing throughout the entire cab, features not available on any new car. Half the neighborhood wanted to go out cruising on a regular basis, and most even wanted to ride in the back to the swimming hole or just to get an ice cream. It was definitely a very popular vehicle to family friends and neighbors. It was like a fulfillment of a poor mans dream truck, and one sweet ride. Oh yes lets not forget another great thing about it, and that is working on it. I am no mechanic but I could rebuild this engine or any issue it could have. Every part is still available at cheap prices. If it has a solid body you can make it run and drive like new without costing an arm and leg. Certainly a piece of history well worth owning. Just make sure you only pay what it's worth and you won't loose money on a classic, antique, C-10 chevy, their value can only go up.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: A vehicle this age can only go up in value, I owned it 10 years and sold it for much more than I bought it for. Great styling . Good on gas being 230 c.i. The easiest vehicle ever to work on. Everybody wanted to ride in it.

Cons: 4 drum brakes felt sluggish stopping. Straight 6, 230 cubic inch made for slow take offs, Everybody wanted to ride in it.

What Is A "review Title"? — this truck is the best antique is the best truck you will ever drive in! it will go at least 160mph easy when you give it to er on a straight stretch. it is a nice car to drive in because it has no seat belts.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: color looks and interior

    Cons: not a damn thing

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Most fun you can have with your clothes on

Awesome Truck — Plenty of torque, minor body damage, classic and tough look, it puts most newer cars to shame and most definitely stands out in a parking lot or going down the road. Has a great rumble and will make the smoke pour off of the tires

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Stands out

    Cons: Gas mileage

Powerful But Bumby If Its The K20 — when restored correctly these trucks are fun to drive, especially if you get a high performance engine and a stick shift in it. they do suck gas and have some rust issues but otherwise they are bullet proof trucks that just keep going

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: unique

    Cons: rust issues

1966 Chevy C10 — The picture above is not my own. I had and old beater chevy with 325,000 miles on it. The best part is that it ran perfect. I had to replace the clutch, brakes, and fuel pump to get it going and then it was perfect. Never had a problem. It was a burnout machine. And i loved the fact that it had auto/power nothing. I even had a manual choke for the carb. BEAUTIFUL. I wouldn't mind owning another in the future even if it has over 300 k miles on it.

    Pros: Power and Appeal

Cons: It was unable to restore :(

Truck I'd Want Forever — I got one for my 16th birthday and after a year and so am currently working on it

Pros: Solid all-around truck, can and will do anything and everything

Cons: hard to find aftermarket lifts b/c of the suspension make-up and age of the vehicle

Great If You Can Get It Fixed Up — Great Vehicle, Recommend to anyone. Rust is a problem, but of you can get rid of the rust, this truck is sure to please anyone. Runs great, although my bed is in disrepair, it can be fixed with a new bed kit.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

    Pros: Classic

    Cons: Rust
