First Rare Mustang — Purchased in May 1964 from Indianapolis this 1964.5 Mustang Indy 500 Pace Car is a rare one! It had a stock 289 engine this was also the fast back version. At the time they only put cheap plastic like stickers to denote the pace car version, which started to peal after a year and half.

Pros: rare and hard to find

    Cons: not many were made

1964 Sleeper V-260 — Great performance with race engine, 5 speed stick shift, RRS rack and pinion, disc brakes, composite springs in the back and lowered/stiffened in the front. Detroit locker and 4,11 makes it take off pretty good. All done by me and my friends

    Pros: Handling/power and style

Cons: the never endind crave for more power... (and all it drags along)

1964 1/2 Mustang Coupe With A 302 5.0 Engine, 5-speed, Pony Interior (black & White) — I love my car. Mustang has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned and still own. The performance of these cars are amazing and having the yearly models is the funnest to drive. It is a classic of the American Muscle cars and I will never own anything other than Ford and Mustangs.

Pros: Fast, comfortable, Light Weight, good for car shows and cruising

Cons: nothing.... keep it in good condition and you won't have problems

My Very 1st Vehicle — This was my very first vehicle when I was in high school. I purchased this 1964 1/2 Mustang from a friend of my dad's and restored it to about 90% original. The car had about 5 paint jobs on it and I sanded the entire car down to bare metal then re-painted it metallic blue. This, unfortunately, was not a muscle car since it had an inline 6 cylinder 250ci engine in it.

Pros: looked good since I restored it to nearly all original

Cons: not a muscle car since it only had a 6 cylinder engine in it

Little Red Mustang — I have had this car since 1981, when I was 15. Love it. Just need time to take it out and use it once in a while. Great car for its time. If only it had the technological advances of today!

    Pros: Red, fast and fun

Cons: no power steering, GPS, or A/C

It's A Good, Pretty, Relliable Car. — Mine has a 260 V8, not the biggest small block, but it's a good mesh of performance and economy. Mine is also a Shelby Clone.

Pros: Beauty, good V8. Decent gas mileage.

    Cons: Another coupe. Smallish V8.

O'stang! — 1964 1/2 Mustang. One of the first to roll off the assembly line. 260 engine. I am the third owner. 98K miles. All original mint condition. Beautifully garaged kept. No rust. A real beauty!

    Pros: Convertible, original interior.

Cons: Paint is dull, no air conditioning, back driver panel was repaired at some point in its history.

This Is What My 1964 Will Look Like When Im Done — I have a 64 1/2 mustang coupe, its in the top ten cars that i would like to own. it has a 260 v8, making it a rare car to find. I am currently in the proccess of restoring it. i have three mustangs right now and this one is by far my favorite.

    Pros: stylish, rare

Cons: small v8 limits power, but is fuel efficient and makes the car rare

There Simply Is No Better Definition For American Muscle Than This Car; It Defines Muslce Car. — This is the quintessential classic muscle car that set the standards for all muscle cars down to even her colors of Wimbledon White on Rangoon Red as seen on millions of calendars and marketing materials through the years. There simply is no better definition for American Muscle than this car; It defines American Muscle Car as we know it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: This is the quintessential classic muscle car that set the standards for all muscle cars down to even her colors of Wimbledon White on Rangoon Red as seen on millions of calendars and marketing materials through the years. I will get cash offers for her while stopped at a red light, will constantly get windows rolled down comments and thumbs up honks, not to mention she even makes you feel like a rock star being that every once in a while you will find ladies panties placed into the car.

Cons: Re-known for running hot the 289 supplies great power but if the heat isn't kept in control your in for trouble. The steering system stock is crap, keeping in mind this was still considered a prototype mustang as they would make many changes to the 1965's as more feedback came in from customers who purchased early.
