1962 Hillman Minx Review
Really Great Collector Car — These are fun cars to own, but you MUST be able to do your own repairs and be creative in locating parts... it is not like a Mustang, Model A or "tri-Five" Chevy. Definitely unique and you will have the only one at a cruise night or car show. The good part is that these are usually cheap to buy. Well under $10K for a really, really nice convertible and less then half that for a sedan.
Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
Pros: Mine is a convertible, so it looks great. Economy is 30-35 MPG... from a 50 year old car.
Cons: 56 HP, no power and it really is unhappy at over 60 MPH. Back seat is small and trunk is small.
