1958 Opel Rekord Review
Can't Wait To Cruise Around. — I can't rate this car because I'm not done restoring it. I've bought the Opel a few months ago and I'm restoring it at the moment. It was in worse shape than it looks like on the pics when I bought it. So far I did LOTS of body and interior work. It actually isn't that rusty but the engine is seized and the brakes don't work. So... still lots of work to get her back on the road! It's been a fun time to work on her and it's a great feeling (especially for a 17 year old like me) to own a 50s car.
Pros: Despite the shape it currently is in, it looks great.
Cons: The costs to get it back on the road.

Not the best handling, but it's old, and has a stock suspension. If it rains or snows you can even drift with it easy. 2.0l engine still works like a charm. Its not the prettiest in the bunch, but i... Read More
