1949 Humber Super SnipeReview
Humbr Super Snipe Mark Ii — The performance of this car is immaterial, although the motor is virtually unbreakable, it is thirsty as a camel. The acceleration, handling and braking are probably quite camel-like too. It does have a most interesting front end suspension, where the leaf-spring is transverse, holding the wheels on track. It is a huge car, and currently being restored. It is very expensive right now and will get worse. A hat of considerable dignity accentuates the driving experience.
Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
Pros: It has a ponderous gait and fantastic comfort for the age, and was driven by royalty all over Europe.
Cons: Not one thing, although it does suck air through the aircleaner and fuel to the engine via the fuel pump.
