Great Vehicle

great SUV. Have a ton of space for cargo or people. Has seats 7 w/ seat belts, third row seating, duel climate control, dual power seats, towing package, AWD, V6, etc. Overall this is perfect car for a family that like to either travel or the outdoors a lot.

I would also like to relay that I never will purchase a vehicle from your or any other luther dealership ever again and will actively recommend that people stay away. I worked with Jeff when I came in. While I test drove the car he kept asking for a down payment to reserve the car. I repeated that i wasn't comfortable doing that and that it wasn't worth what was being asked for. first red flag. I had test drove a second car a Acura Tl told him that I would prefer the accord but not at that price and would get back to him. I should have talked to a different salesperson after he asked for a deposit again at his desk but I didn't because as a salesperson my self I understand sometimes your off and that it is terrible when you work with someone just to have them skirt you. I contacted him a few days later saying I would like to come in and try to make a deal. I called the day I came in a second time and he said he pulled up the Acura. Second red flag, huge red flag for a bait and switch. I had had never said the Acura was the one i was my main interest in in fact i said that about the accord. I was already Almost at the dealership from Eagan mind you when I called so I headed in anyway. I tried to make an offer at 9000 which i figured was a fair starting point for a negotiation and After going back en forth we would a end around 9800 a fair deal for all. He laughed at me saying thats not how it works here. I purchased my crv at a luther dealership I know they negotiate. I said thats my offer and please at least give it to your manager. HE WALKED AROUND ME WHILE LAUGHING AT ME. Then headed to the managers office. If he was paying attention he would have notice my friend going around the other said of the center desks and listing to him say that he was just going to flip me to the Acura and then sat there cracking jokes. My friend came back and 5 minutes later so did Jeff. He said I quote . "The car wont be 10,493 , it is 10,494 we wont even come down a dollar." I understand that some times you are to far into a car but that's not how you talk to a customer. You say " Unfortunately I cant do that for on that car" and offer to do something else for them not make some smart remark. I also want to point out at the time of this review there car was still not sold and listed now at 9993. (alot less then what he said it would never come down to) I told him that the vehicle wasn't worth that much and according to all of my resources and that wouldn't work. He started waiving around the repair shop papers saying with all the work done it worth at least that. I started walking away and he was "Dont you at least want to make a deal on the TL?" there's the switch. At this point I needed to leave or I would have flipped out on him. The fact he to asked that after treating me the way he did and the fact that he was the switching me to a car that at the time was at least the same price as the one i was looking at if not more, just absolutely boggles my mind. He is the type of salesmen that give car salesmen a bad name. He is shady."
