36 years on and SAAB number 9 and I still love SAAB’s. Never had any major problems in all those years. So why should I want to change? Lets hope that Koenigsegg will now steer SAAB away from this stupid drift towards trying to be “trendy” that has been appearing in their brochures of recent years and seriously make those that worship the Teutonic trilogy think again.

Sweet! Boxster Spyder PDK for me! It’s more of an everyday driver than the track-specific BMW M3 GTS. And it’ll cost about a hundred grand less.

There are cars that are green made by BMW, Volks-Wagen, and Ford. You need to look at other company cars that aren’t ugly. Other car companies have green cars made just not for sale.

I am a die hard Saab fan and I think Konigseggs plan should work. Konigsegg is a small company that will put intention into Saab that GM didn’t.

Bob Lutz is among GM’s worst liabilities. Look at the CTS-V. As high-end production performance cars go, it’s had a lot of development. So what? Will GM sell SEVERAL MILLION CTS-V’s?? Will they even sell 30,000?

GM CAN NOT BE SUCCESSFUL SELLING CTS-V’s, Volts, Camaros, ZR’s and other niche vehicles. What this promotion showed is Bob’s “big balls” syndrome which was meant to appeal to other men with similar masculinity problems.

If you want to be successful selling cars, you need to speak to women at least as much (and likely more) than men. That’s one big reason Japanese companies like Honda and Toyota are kicking Bob’s big macho butt.

A good polish is better to use then a wax, one that contains Teflon to protect your paintwork. This should last 3/4 months and get you through the winter period. Good post by the way

I think Bob Lutz’s behavior and interests prove he’s definitely a 20th century man. Who cares for a car’s top speed today, frankly? It’s a pointless concern in our world and I’m sure it’s pointless for most potential buyers as well.
