CarGurus
Who is CarGurus?
CarGurus is an automotive community. Are you looking for a new or used car? Trying to get rid of your old beater and can't figure out what it's worth? We can help!
We help people share information about their cars, as well as related services, parts, and accessories. Whether it's an article about a 2000 Corvette, user review of a classic 1965 Ford Mustang, someone's photo of their customized Toyota Camry, or a simple question about a 1996 Civic, CarGurus strives to connect people with the information they need.
CarGurus is the place where automotive knowledge is shared.
How Does It Work?
CarGurus works because of you - the community. CarGurus users write the reviews, post the pictures and find the articles that you see on CarGurus. Ask a question on our site and the community will answer it.
The information our users post reflects their personal experience. We do not filter the information on our site: we are completely unbiased. We are not affiliated with any auto manufacturers or dealerships.
So you can see that CarGurus is simply about connecting people - those in the know with those that want to know.
How Do You Make Money?
Yes, CarGurus is a for-profit company. We make money by providing relevant offers to the CarGurus community.
Researching a particular car on our site? You might see links on our site to places on the web where you can buy the car. We get paid by a variety of advertisers for placing these relevant offers on our pages.
Note that these advertisements are separate from the content of the site. We do not edit or change any content for our advertisers nor give advertisers preferential treatment in any way.
