The Steering On My 2007 220 Cdi Auto Seems A Bit Heavy. Any Thoughts ?

The steering on my 2007 220 cdi auto seems a bit heavy for such an otherwise excellent car. Is this a fault perhaps, or a characteristic of the model? Anyone got any thoughts ?
