i have a 2002 ford windstar se sport van and the headlights or rear lights will not go off unless we disconnect the battery. the dash lights, heater, signal lights or any of the dash gages work.

when you press brake pedal volts on alternater drop to 12.2 volts when you release brake pedal alternater reads14.2 volts of course this is when the truck is running idle.

Alternator/ Voltage Regulator?

while driving the lights can shut off and the speedometer, gas gage , tachometer and everything will drop to zero and the engine will shut off. This happens more when it rains.
