My '97 C1500 Silverado, originally a V6 5 Speed Truck, I converted it to a 5.7 V8 4L60E Automatic truck with 3.73:1 Posi Traction Rear End. I have lowered it 2 inches up front and 4 inches out back using BellTech drop spindles and BellTech lowering shackles and hangers in the rear and Edelbrock Performer IAS drop shocks on all four corners. Then I replaced the stock chrome plated steel rims with a Set of Chromed Boss Motorsports 20X8.5 wheels with Goodyear Eagle GT2 rubber size 275/45/20. I have added Gibson Headers, a Volant cold air intake and a B&M Shift Improver kit in the Transmission. Then I reprogrammed the computer with a HyperTech power programmer. I also replaced the stock bench seat with a set of factory bucket seats and console and a factory overhead console as well.
