Used car dealer tried to lie to me about the 2010 scions engine because I am a girl. Prices are extravagantly high for what the cars are. Shady used car vultures. New car dealer took forever. Was nice but the trip duration could have been limited by about 1 hr had the salesman had a clue.

Offered $10/12 thousand dollars for my trade in and when the deal was done the manager backed out of his offer saying my Toyota Highlander was from Canada. My Toyota Highlander was bought from Toyota of the Bronx on Boston Road and had a J at the beginning of the vin number saying it was made in Japan. As the deal had been agreed I had to go through with this and ended up with $23 thousand dollars on finance as I put $12 thousand down was expecting to receive the $10/12 thousand from my trade in leaving a finance bill of approx $10 thousand Instead I ended up with $21 thousand on finance.The original price of the Cruiser was $26 thousand but somehow the dealership managed to bump it up so in the end the selling price was $38 thousand. Never trust a Toyota Dealership. I have been with Toyota for 12 years but this will be the last time.I advise people never to go to Fordham Toyota in the Bronx. They are a gang of crooks just there to rip off innocent customers

Personnel very helpful and friendly. Overall process was slow once we reached the sale closing activities; they probably should study the amount of time waiting between steps. I did my homework - they (I think) recognized it and didn't give me a hard time completing the negotiation. I would suggest they reconsider having all the sales personnel standing in the parking lot intercepting customers as they come into the lot - disconcerting and uncomfortable. Overall, I am satisfied with the results and the car.
