I will NEVER buy from Quirk, or use them for service, even though I live close by. Their sales staff members were something out of the 1950's - talking about what "ladies" like in cars - BTW, we shop by color, not value?!? and I was asked whether I needed to "run my purchasing decision by someone else?" It took them repeating this three times before I understood they were asking whether my husband had to approve my purchase. Having forgotten to get married, I assured them, I was empowered AND FUNDED to make the decision by my little old self. I then got up from the table and walked out, taking my cash and car purchase with me. Are you guys kidding?

Tried to give me a GREAT DEAL on a vehicle that had been in 3 accidents...we almost signed the paperwork when we asked about a car fax on this 2008 EDGE...They would never have told us but we knew the deal was too good to be true!insisting they didn't know about the accidents they tried to sell me another identical vehicle at about $5000.00-$6000.00 more and I asked why I couldn't get it at the same price..came up with an excuse....certainly they knew about the accidents...they just chose not to tell me.

After submitting an inquiry about a used 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid through cargurus.com, I was contacted by a salesman named Tim and we scheduled a test drive for the upcoming Saturday. After a few days I noticed that the car was no longer showing up on search results on cargurus.com, so I emailed Tim to make sure we were still on for Saturday. He never responded. We were looking at a few different used cars (Fusion Hybrids, Escape Hybrids); all dealerships were at least 1 hour from our house. o I decided to call and make sure the car was still available. When I called, I spoke with another salesman who said the car was still available and that I should plan to come in on Saturday. He turned me over to Tim and I decided to bring up price since this vehicle was overpriced by about $4000 (according to cargurus.com, KBB, NADA). The price from NADA (full options) was closer to $21,000, so I asked him to come down to at least $22,500. He said that if he inflated his prices by thousands of dollars, they would be out of business. I called back on Saturday after test driving the 2010 Ford Fusion at a dealer closer to my house and told him I wasn't interested. We test drove the 2013 Fusion Hybrid and C-Max Hybrid at Watertown Ford instead and had an amazing experience. We are taking delivery on a new 2013 C-Max from Watertown Ford later today.

A problem was encountered with two of the wheels - severe rim runout on one; runout on the second. Dennis Roberts Jr., General Manager of Hillsboro Ford, immediately corrected the problem by providing me, without hesitation, with two new wheels, an outcome far more than the warranty issues demanded! Pricing of vehicle barely in average condition as if it were in excellent condition, (wheel well rust bubbling through, baseball sized dent in hood, tires with seriously uneven wear, etc...) On top of unrealistic evaluation of vehicle condition and high pricing, they sprang a $500 "doc fee" on me after negotiation a price in the ball park of reasonable and wouldn't budge to offset the added cost. The staff were friendly and the environment at this large dealership is very pleasant, but between faulty pricing and the added $500 fee on top of vehicle price, this is NOT the place to go for a used vehicle!
