What I don't like is car is a little heavier than I wanted for the size, but I guess with all the safety equipment it's hard to get away with it being much lighter unless you use the more expensive carbon fiber and aluminum frame, which would increase the price of the car even ...

Salesman returned my email inquiry and said that the car was listed in the inventory but he did not see it on the lot. Said he would get back to me, but didn't. A few days later, we drove there to find out it had been sold last week. The salesman was very apologetic, but we find it annoying that dealerships don't take ads down for quite a while after they have been sold.

VERY poor service in that they are W A Y overpriced and reluctant to bargain at all. Had a 12 Camaro anniversary WAY overpriced. Salesman stated "we paid too much for that car because the guy is a good customer and he upgraded to a more expensive SUV". Be that as it may; YOU paid too much so lets pass that OVERPAY off to the next customer??? After dickering back & forth they gave me whopping $300 off a $34K car (asking price)....big deal! Other dealers have the same car asking $31K-$32K. Salesman Mike was nice! Salesman Mark couldn't be bothered! It was like he was doing me a favor selling me an overpriced car for asking price; Not ten cents off from Mark! Their excuse is the car is like new with 1600 miles on it. LIKE new is NOT new...it's USED! It only has 1600 miles on it! Yes; but the drivetrain clunks, the steering shimmies and the car feels like it needs some help. Salesman says "thats only wheel balancing"; well didn't you "certify" and service this car that you have had for a while PRIOR to showing to a customer? More corporate and personal greed in America!

My experience was terrible. I called four times to confirm details of the appointment including getting the car ready. I brought my mechanic. The car wasn't ready. They stalled and hemmed and hawed. When it was finally brought out it was totally different that the pictures and in terrible shape. A total waste of 2 hours.

They guys are shady. I contacted a sales person, made a deal over the phone, told them I would come pick it up and gave the sales person my credit card to hold it. They sent my bank a buyers sheet with a price we didn't agree upon when I called the salesman he wanted to know where I got that price I told him cars.com he then said he would talk to his manager and then told me it was a typo but they would honor the price. But they would never send the a buys sheet to my bank after that, they did not use my deposit to hold the car and regardless of how many times I ask them to send the paper work to bank they pretended not to know what I was talking about. when I got a hold of a "manager" he told me I took to long to get the car and it was sold. Yes I live about 175 miles away, yes my daughter had unexpected surgery and yes I called and told the salesman this and offered more money to hold the car and he said not to worry that Hawthorne Chev was a big dealer and would hold the car. I guess they got a better deal but at least they could have called and told me they couldn't hold the car. Very unprofessional and I know because I've worked in the car dealership business and just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I can't smell a rat when it's under my nose.

Don't waste your time. I called because I wanted a Subaru they supposedly had. We discussed a price and I asked a few questions. The guy said he had to talk to his manager. I told the guy I needed the car right away! I called himback after a few HOUIRS.. he offered a bunch of excuses saying he kept losing power at the dealership.. did his cell phone go out too? So he told me he would call in 1/2 hour.. after an hour I called back.. he had gone home.. I offered OK I will talk to him tomorrow.. ummm no. he is off tomorrow... I called Honda and bought it there... the end.. 2 days later I had my car.. Avoid this poor poor dealership.. by the way.. the guy never called back after the next day either..

Exceptionally friendly, well mannered, and professional. I told them what vehicle I was interested in and they had someone bring it to the door so we could take a test drive. They answered all of our questions and then pointed out features of the vehicle. After the test drive, we said we wanted the vehicle. They took care of financing, registration and insurance. In less than 2 hours we were driving home in our "new" 2009 Chevrolet HHR.

Great dealer - no BS - bought several vehicles there and always get treated well with a great deal. Shopped other area dealers and always found Karl to be the best. Plus they have a very good service dept that is there when you need them. Once my car had a problem on a saturday when service was closing and they gave me a car to use until they could fix it on Monday - huge help as I was going away for the weekend.

bought a used honda prius. took the whole afternoon (4hrs) to check out 2 cars and test drive. one had a terrible wet dog smell but was 2 years newer and had same milage. ended up buying the older one with no smell for almost the same price. I was about to walk out but then they accepted my offer (the car had a dent in the step rail on the side, so I was asking for a mark down).
