| “Do Not Go Here” cobra03
I took my car in because it was making a noise in the rear end. They first quoted me 700 then they called me back and quoted 1000 then I get another call and its 1400. I have no problem paying 1400 as long as the car stops making the noise and everything is good. But I get my car back and it makes more noises. I feel like my car is in worse shape now then when I took it in. Now I'm out of money and have a car that is not drivable. I don't want to take it back because these are the people that caused the problems. I can't afford to take it anywhere else.

| “Stay Away! They Will Take Motor Apart, Then Tell You It Needs More Work $$$$.” RobPat62
I went to have my Catera timing belt, crankshaft & camshaft seals replaced at an agreed upon price, then after having part of the engine apart, Brown (Ron Gutierrez)said it would need additional work (valve covergaskets). I asked how much ($700.00)and I agreed. He later informed me of the additional cost was for parts only. I knew he was taking advantage of me at this point but with my car engine in parts, I felt trapped. I knew he would still charge me a premium cost for labor to put everything back. When I told him I would need to finance the charges, he had me sign a loan application that didn't indicate the amount. When I had Gene Brown note the amount I was shocked. The amount was now $2127.67. When I was picking up my car, I noticed another customer disagreeing about the inflated charges for repair work. I documented the situation and informed my credit card company, the Better Business Bureau & the Attorney Generals office but no one was able to help. Please let me know if anyone else has rxperienced similar circumstances. Rob Patino
