May Take Advantage Of Unknowledgeable Consumer — Had head gaskets replaced on this vehicle. Mechanic is licensed and has approx. 30yrs experience. Have had several vehicles repaired by him over the years with no problem. This time, I got the car back and it over-heated multiple times, blowing out coolant through the overflow tank. Finally realized that the oil was over-filled. Not a big problem, maybe an honest mistake until I tried to drain the excess oil and couldn't get the drain plug loose. Had to use a breaker bar and drained a full quart of extra oil. Owner's manual states, in bold print. " over filling oil will cause engine damage!" Hard to believe that a certified mechanic with 30yrs experience could make that kind of mistake. After bringing oil to proper level, car is running good, no overheating. Maybe a ploy to give reason for future repair, like a cooked motor. Use caution, get several opinions before hiring this guy.
