Small selection of used Tundras for a Toyota dealer. Consistently overpriced.

The contact in Dec. 2012 was fine, but I'm still simmering over a bad
experience last summer when the internet price listed on a used Prius
was not honored. What happened to truth in advertising? In olden days
of reliable newspaper print, a dealership couldn't wiggle out of a bait-
n-switch, oops, must have been a typo excuse.

The car on the website was not at the dealer on a 20K more expensive car was available. Go figure!

I bought a truck(or at least i thought it did) Everything was fine, my trade in done and they wanted to pay off my old loan. A week later I get a call that there is a shortage of $ 1500 for the financing and if I could come up with that or I might have to give the truck back. The same day I got a card in the mail saying how happy they are "to seal the deal".
I was always under the impression if a deal is accepted and all the papers are signed the deal is done.
I find out on monday what " sealing the deal" means at desert Toyota. It started out asd a 5-star experience, for now til monday down to 1 star

Painful experience. Two hours with sales guy before he handed us off to a fast-talking sales manager with a New York accent. This guy abandoned us during negotiations for 20 minutes on two separate occasions, while a dozen used-car salesmen stood around with their thumbs up their butts. Then he would come back with some line like, 'My manager says he will meet you half-way on your offer if you sign in the next hour.' In both the new-car and used-car showrooms, two separate channels of music were blaring simultaneously, and every 45 minutes or hour, when a sale was made, they blasted Madonna's 'Celebrate' and pre-recorded champagne corks popping at alarming levels. On top of the other two channels. Even after we agreed on a price it took over an hour to process the paperwork, despite paying cash. I mean, we were waiting 45 minutes in the showroom just to see the paperwork guy. And even after that, we had to wait another 45 minutes for them to "wash the car'.
