I was looking at a car with them. I looked at the pictures online.
First there were TWO interiors online. One tan, and one black. I
asked the salesman on the phone what color was the interior. He
said sarcastically , tan, like the pictures as HE had loaded them
himself. I told him there were black interior shots on there as well
as the tan. He debated it with me. I then asked if this was for
certain the pics of the exact car, v/s others "like" this car. He said
it was that car. The pictures showed a pristine vehicle, and I was
excited. I told him I had limited car shopping time, and that I knew
it was a used vehicle and were there any issues the pictures didn't
show. He stated absolutely not. When I got there, there was a lot
wrong with the interior. The dash and console were cracked in
many places, not to mention damage on the interior of the door,
and several function lights on. I was then told "Listen, this IS a
used car. You can't be too picky". I have, actually NEVER bought
a new car, but once in my life, and am very familiar with what you
can find with used vehicles. Very typical of a salesman to tell you
that you can't have what you want, just because they don't have it.
I kept looking at other dealerships, though he said he would look
into repairs and call me next day. 3 days later he called. I had
already found a VERY nice USED vehicle that was all I hoped for.
I was disappointed that time was wasted by not being open, and a
failure to call back in the time he said he would.
