Sales Man Is A Very Good Entleman But After Sales Are Very, Very Rediculous —
Quality of Work: Very, very poor. They sold a 2005 Mercedes E320 to me where the shop did not check to top off all fluids (oil, break fluids, windshield wiper fluids, power steering fluids, etc). How do I know? Within the same week that I bought this car, upon the first use of the windshield wiper fluid, it was empty. THAT WAS AN EYE OPENER. I took it back and requested for all fluids top off. In their own words "1.5 QTS Syntic oil added". This is a car that has not been with me for less than a week. The check engine light came on just as I took the car from them to drive home. Called auto motion and told them that the check engine light was on. RESPONSE: That will go away after you have run the car for few days. Drove from Minneapolis to Des Moines, Iowa where I live and work, light is still on. Took the car (E320) back. RESPONSE: After diagnostic of the check engine code, we found small leak at gas cap base, sanded and re-installed cap, code does not return. Apparently CODE was turn off by them without doing nothing about it. Driving less than one mile down the road away from the shop, the "CHECK ENGINE" light came right back on. Please tell me will you want to pay for such a lousy job? Of-course they want me to pay for this. Oh this important Part! The shop wouldn't tell you how much its going to cost you before the job can be done if you don't ask. DO NOT GET ME WRONG. THAT SALES MAN IS SO NICE to the extent that you would want everyone who looking to buy car to go to auto motion sales. RECOMMENDATION: DO NOT, I repeat, do not get carry away by this very nice sales man. If it were for him, I would just take any car as it is without checking anything on it like I did this Mercedes E320.
