I used All Imports one time when I needed new door
locks and thought they did a good job at a fair price.
When I needed my car towed there I found that they were
not at all honest. I was told that I needed a new engine
and that I could get a used one for $6800 with a year
warranty. Or, the owner would "take it off my hands." As it
turned out, I didn't need a new engine at all. Something
was wrong with the brain in the computer and it cost me
$138.00 to fix it at Lexus. All imports took out the oil pan
and put it back with the wrong sealant knowing that the
car would surely break down very quickly and in
frustration I would return. Not surprisingly, there is a
used car lot immediately adjacent to the repair shop and
it appears that these two friends prey on women who do
not know cars. I don't know about cars, but I have pretty
good instincts. No reliable diagnostic test was
performed, the work that allegedly was performed was
designed to ruin my car or at the very least make it
dangerously unreliable. Between the car rental, the
towing and the "repair" I have spent over $1000.00. Run.
Best Of The Best —
All Imports is a pretty nice shop. I went in and had a tune up done on a 750 BMW and had a problem with the car misfiring. Sam gave me a estimate of $640 before the work started. To make a long story short they fixed the problem without charging me too much money. It turned out I only needed to spend just over $400. I have a new mechanic and will go back.
Hi Performance Part Install —
I seen this place on the way to a business appointment. They were offering a brake check so I stopped in. I talked to the owner for a while and was pleasantly surprised by his knowledge of my car and the performance enhancements I had installed. A few weeks later I went back and had some after market injectors installed. The car looked good and ran better after I got it back. Sam really knows the business and I have the impression he is one of those rare guys that don't try to beat you out of a few extra dollars.
