I own a 2006 5-Seater V8 VW Phaeton. The fit and trim are fantastic and ride quality is stiff but the seats are comfortable. The cost of ownership is pretty high, i.e. new brakes are about $1,200 but it that's expected on a high end luxury vehicle. "Dealer contacted me probably in answered many questions. He told
me the car was clean title no accidents. When I asked for a video
walkaround of the car his communications stopped. I ran a Carfax on
the car and found out it had been a total loss previously. I was
disappointed in dealer and had no interest in car after that. Bought the
same model car from different dealer."
