When we arrived we were told that the owner of the Toyota dealer ships son took off in the truck and that he didn't know where he went or when he would be back. He told us he always did things like that. He said he would try calling him and he walked away I assume to try and call him. 20 minutes later When he came back he said he could not reach him but he could show us new one. As we were looking at the brand new one he proceeded to tell us that the owners son who has been driving the Sequoia we came to look at was a smoker and not just a smoker but a chain smoker who always has a cigarette in his hand so the vehicle really smelled of smoke. I feel like we were miss lead and that they set us up to get us there so they could try and sell us a brand new Sequoia. We will never go back to Walnut Creek Toyota. "

Make sure you budget for an extended warranty or be prepared to negotiate this because they will try and sell it to you. I did get an extended warranty for my van, which covers all non-routine maintenance (standard wear and tear items and regular maintenance items not included). My extended warranty covers me up to 7yrs/100K, which is nice for peace of mind. However, as this is a Toyota, I don't expect to have to use the extended warranty much, if at all. Just make sure you know what the warranty and peace of mind is worth. I would purchase from this Dealer again, and they are on my short list."
