They sold a 2012 Tacoma “out from underneath me” while I was awaiting payment information from the sales manager – including the use of a credit card transaction to hold the aforementioned vehicle. Stall tactics are utilized by this group to avoid having to work for the buyer . Deplorable communication, substandard follow-up and no customer courtesy shown to potential customers. Beware of this dealership – they are knuckle-draggers."

Specifically, at the time I was searching, Toyota was offering 0% financing on new Plug-in Prius vehicles that included a $3,000 "Toyota Cash" incentive, and the federal tax credit on Plug-in Priuses (new) was still $2,500. The dealer was listing a surprisingly low price, so I asked if it already took into account the $3,000 Toyota financing incentive. Their answer was that yes, it did (not abnormal), and that it ALSO included the tax credit! The federal tax credit doesn't come back to buyers until they file their tax returns in April, and since it is a "non-refundable" tax credit, many buyers who have low tax liability will not even get the tax credit. We are middle class, but even we don't have sufficient liability this year to get a single dollar of the federal tax credit. When I asked about this, the salesperson said it was normal practice in Maryland to include the tax credit in the advertised price. That seems to be false, since I also checked with about 5 other dealers in Maryland who were selling these cars, and all of them included only the Toyota cash incentive, not the tax credit. Most of them were even good about saying that I should speak with my tax accountant to see how much of the credit I'm likely to receive. Not R&H! I will never do business with these folks."
