After some counter-offering we (myself and Ruben, a sales director) settled on things. My husband and I got a babysitter and drove 40 miles to pick up what we thought would be our new car. Instead we got a car in pretty mediocre condition (for a one year old vehicle) that reeked of dog. I politely expressed my concern to the salesperson who showed us the car. We took a test drive anyway, and he only spoke to us when spoken to. Awkward! I'm still in the market and have seen other cars there that I'm interested in online there, but refuse to consider them any further. The only redemption was the supervisor was nice and didn't trap us at the dealership when he realized that our concern was legitimate."
