The 924 was a brilliant design... transaxle, perfect balance- a little under powered- but amazing considering its age... good on fuel- a 2.0 (k-jetronic) mechanical fuel injection provides enough meaness to give about 30-35 mpg. I think the design that Porsche chose after the rear engine design of the 91...
