“Why do you think Government agencies and taxi cab companies used these cars for years?”
I have owned my Merc for four years and I use it as a daily commuter in and out of Boston (35 miles). Although they were equipped with a V8 engine, the 4.6L is a relatively small V8 compared to other V8's on the market in 98'. The engine has plenty of power to push the car along so it doesn't require much gas. I can get about 25 MPG on the highway....
