My husband told the "Manager of Customer Service", Charlie, that he was prepared to take time off from work and come back first thing Monday morning to potentially close the sale, but asked if we could drive the car to our mechanic (15 minutes away) for an inspection. Charlie said that would not be a problem, but that he wouldn't be in until 11am and there was no way around it. So much for customer service! We had to change the plan. My husband called the dealership at 10am on Monday and left a message for Charlie to contact him as soon as he got in. Charlie returned the call at 2 that afternoon and informed us that the general manager would not allow us to take the car off the lot. That really said it all. Although the car appeared to be in excellent condition, it has been sitting at the dealership for 3 months. We really didn't need to think twice. DO NOT do business with Mazda of Lodi. What a waste of time."

I picked my car nxt day after the bank verification. I went to another Nissan dealer out in NJ(Springfield Nissan), which is close where I live n they had me sit n wait for 3 hrs without communicating wat was going on. I kept asking questions n they seemed like they were answering abrubtly n wlkin away. There customer service sucked. I was in Brooklyn that afternoon n decided to to stop in at Bay Ridge Nissan. I told them my experience n they came through for me. They were excelent. Thank you Bayridge Nissan.:-D"

Found some that were even priced $1000.00 over their internet "salesprice". Salesman (Dennis) asked us to "give him a few minutes" while he filed some paperwork. After almost an hour, it was apparent he was in no rush to sell us a car. The wait was not in vain, however, as it gave us the opportunity to witness customer after customer walk out in disgust after their own salesman tried the "bait and switch" moments before signing on the dotted line. One of those salesman, after failing to seal the deal, spent the next several minutes making personal phone calls (loudly debating which bootleg DVD he'd watch later on that night) while customers stood around waiting for someone to help them. When I approached this guy and asked him if he had a minute to show us a couple of cars we were interested in, he said, and I quote, "uhhhh, ummmm, No I don't have time. I THINK my manager MIGHT have something else for me to do". There are plenty of other dealerships in the area...don't waste your time on this one. "
