Avg. Dealer Rating: (4 reviews) "I have read other reviews of this dealership's less than forthcoming business practices. Other customers have accused them of leaving nice vehicles up on their website, advertising them as available & for sale, when in fact, they were sold long ago. It is said they do this in order to attract customers to their lot, then when the buyer realizes the vehicle they were interested in was "just sold" they try to talk them into a different vehicle that is on their lot currently. This dealership also owns & operates Beach Auto Brokers in Norfolk, VA. I verified this by talking to an employee of Car Direct USA. To verify that what was being reported by other customers was actually happening, I picked out 4 vehicles total - 2 from each dealership & drove out to both of these dealerships (they are only about 6 or 7 miles apart) on a Sunday - knowing that they would be closed, so I could check out the vehicles I was interested in without any salesman around. All 4 of the vehicles (2 from Car Direct USA & 2 from Beach Auto Brokers) were not on the lots. I followed this up by calling each dealer on Monday, the very next day, and both dealerships admitted the vehicles had all been sold some time ago and they also admitted to leaving the vehicles on the website to attract customers by misleading the customers. Let the buyers beware of Car direct USA & Beach Auto Brokers. If you want to try to shop at these dealerships, the only way you will get an accurate representation of what they actually have for sale at any given moment, is to go their in person. Reason being what they have on their websites as the inventory they actually have on hand is intentionally not accurate. Quite honestly, I would not trust businesses after experiencing firsthand their misleading advertising practices."
