With some suspension upgrades, it handles very nicely. With some exterior mods it looks very nice. It does not under perform but doesn't have the best performance, decent for a 4 cyl. "Spoke with Mike here a few weeks ago, and test drove an Elantra. Mike acted and spoke as if the Elantra was the last one available in California,and that we would be lucky to purchase it. He refused to answer basic financing questions and car options. He wasted our time. I went to a Hyundai dealer in another city and purchased a Sonata the next weekend. Great cars, poor salesmanship."

"The car was filthy and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The salesperson tried to say that it was someone who smoking nearby that caused the smell. I didn't smell any smoke until I opened the car door. The salesperson couldn't answer any questions without asking someone else first. She said she would followup with an email the next day about some questions I had but that never happened. Needless to say we did not buy the car and would not go back there."
