After 5+ hours, we finalized a deal and was ready to walk out with keys --- until we were asked who truck was for and we honestly responded that it was for our 18 year old senior in high school who was headed to college in august. And, we were purchasing as a gift for earning a full scholarship to college. The dealer's lender immediately retracted the financing; Therefore, it was a wasted round-trip drive and wasted time and fuel to go there from Houston to Austin. Had the dealer started the financing process prior to our arrival perhaps this could have been avoided."

The salesman and I talked 4 times the following week as they supposedly ran it through the service department. 1 week later they called to tell me they had sold the car. To an employee no less. I'm speechless and would never recommend them or purchase a car from them. The GM called and apologized and told me to give him a couple days and he'd find another car for me. It's been almost a month and I've never heard from him. In typical car salesman fashion. Horrible. Shame on you Charles Maund VW and Charles Maund Imports. Ended up buying from a craigslist individual. Great car and great experience. "
