Avg. Dealer Rating: (5 reviews) "I saw a car I liked but the price was out of my range. I live 100 miles away so I didn't want to drive to see it if I couldn't afford it. I asked if the price was negotiable and Ken came back with a lower price and I said OK, I'll go see it. He said I had to come fast because the car was slated for auction at the end of the week. I drove out and took it for a ride and after observing some things wrong with the car (red stains on the carpet and oil around the manifold seal), I negotiated a few more hundred dollars lower price with Jim (the owner) and I agreed to buy the car if I could put $2,000 on my credit card, and Jim said yes. Ken was writing up the papers for me to sign and Richard came in the room and told me he would not honor the deal. He said that we had a deal on the phone for the higher price. I said, well that's before I saw the car (who buys a car without seeing it first)? I told Richard that his father (Jim) OK'd the new price. Richard then (rudely) said, well this is MY deal and we agreed on a price on the phone. He told me he could get more than that at auction, (which I know for a fact that he didn't even get anywhere near what I offered him, plus he had to pay the auction fees and transport of the car, not a very good business decision). I was also very put off by the lack of manners of the woman answering the phone. Every time I called and asked for Ken, I was bombarded with a barrage of questions, "Who is this? Where are you from? What's this about?", always in a snippy tone and never a "please" or a "thank you". I have to say that Ken and Jim were wonderful to deal with. Too bad Richard deprived Ken of his commission, I was ready to sign the papers. Personally, I will never buy a car from there and I will be telling all my friends about my experience too. "

I live 220 miles away and I had to trust their description of the car as well as the pictures on the web. They told me the car was actually nicer than the pictures showed and they were exactly correct. They treated me very well. They beat all other prices on the very same year civic and they found me the best possible interest rate. When I arrived home I noticed the car was missing a small insert on the front bumper. I called the sales man I worked with (Matt) and they sent me a brand nem insert from their Honda dealership. It was an 8 hour ride for my wife and I to pick up the civic but I saved several hundred dollars and I was treated very well. I give Porreco the highest score possible for a car dealer."
