I bought the car with 70,000 miles and started using synthetic oil then. The car has 130,000 miles now and I think it runs better now than it did when I bought it. I have heard thar Ford discourages the use of synthetic oil but I have had great success with synthetic oil. The only problim I have had with the car is that the idle control solonoid...
