The Finance Manager first told me I was approved then called me after I signed an put money down. Had the car for already a week when I was called back saying I wasn't approved. Unless I put 10,000 down. I was ready to give the car back until my car sales went an asked the main boss if he could find me a bank that would finance me. Thank god he did. Semi-long story but suffice to say this..We were paying cash for the entire purchase so when the sales manager found this out, he had no intention of selling us this car for the "special" price of 17993 for an Eddie Bauer Expedition. We had to do all of the compromising...he would not negotiate $500.00. Scott, the sales manager, said that he would lose money if he lowered the price any further when he could just sell it at auction and not lose money. I had to leave and make a special trip to the bank because they refused to call the bank to verify funds. He did a background check on me when I did not authorize him to do so. He insisted that I fill out a credit app even though I was paying cash. I refused and he bought me another form saying that I needed to at least fill out the name, address and phone number and sign it so they could "put us in their system". I told him that I would rather just write that info. on another paper. He insisted so when I did, I did not sign before I crossed out all of the fine print that said that they had permission to run my credit and get my background. I wrote in that they specifically did NOT have permission for this. Fast forward, when I was making a final inspection of the car since there is no "cooling off"period, I noticed an overhead light that didn't work. I asked him very nicely if I could get a new lightbulb. He raised his voice and shouted "I will not take that deal!" and stormed off. Well, I thought he was joking and when I realized he wasn't, I was so shocked that I started to tear up....I was so upset that someone could treat another human being like that! Needless to say, he lost a sale for his employee without even a thought. I inisisted on my paperwork back which he threw to me but skipped the background check result. Though it had nothing on it, I told him that I wanted that too. He really threw that one at me. The next day, they lowered the price nby $1,000 to a total of $16,993! This was the same man who said he couldn't lose anymore money by negotiating $500! I will NEVER do business there again and urge everyone reading this to NEVER do business with them! Scott is rude, unscruptulous, and a cheat. He had not intention on selling us the car because he would not make any money on us since we were paying cash! Horrific! "
