“Was a great car until the engine died at 50k”
First Escape was 2001 lease, loved it enough to turn in for new 2000 lease. Loved it enough to purchase when lease was up. Then at 50k miles the engine blew a rod. Okay, I did drive it hard, but common. That was still a young engine. The car is a zippy V6 with 200 horses and almost drives like a car. Great for snowboarding trips and general utility...
