I seriously would NOT recommend AutoBahn-Quincy,MA to anyone! I recently purchased a car from Autobahn (Quincy, MA). I paid CASH (bankers check in full) at the time of pickup. Days after the purchase, my check engine light came on. I was not able to get an inspection sticker so I returned the car and asked them to repair the problem and asked them if they could get the inspection sticker for me (which I gave them $30.00 CASH for). When I got the car back three days later I was told by Abe and Eric that they “fixed the problem”. Within two days from picking up my car the check engine light came on, again. I returned the car and asked them to FIX THE PROBLEM THIS TIME! I repeatedly had to call these guys because my calls were not being answered (caller ID - during business hours) nor returned. After I tried calling them from a blocked number, I FINALLY got an answer… they actually told me they “FORGOT to get back to me”! Sorry but in my opinion that is totally unprofessional. They told me my car needed a “MAJOR part costing THEM $400-$500.00. And the part may not be delivered for 4 days!” When I went to pick my car up at Autobahn I was charged $100.00 for “repairs” that were STILL UNDER (30 day) WARRANTY. But, because they had an “UP TO $100 in repairs” fee, I paid it. The worst part was when they showed me the part that they said they had to replace……. THEY LIED! They told me they had to replace the intake manifold… BUT, the part they replaced was only a COIL!! So, yeah… the part they told me that “cost them $400-$500”, was actually an $83.00 part that I could have bought from Advanced Auto – IN STOCK!!!! And the repair to fix it I got quoted: ½ hour labor to change over. This is only the short version of my experience with Autobahn.. It's only been days since I picked up my car and I hope NOT to have any more issues!"
