The agent responded yes, and we procrastinated but indicated by e-mail that we'd visit two weeks later to check it out, figuring that the 6 months the car had been on the lot already was an indication that it wasn't in hot demand, and that we were safe. Alas, the car was sold to a dealership while we waited to check it out. Not a big deal. We bought a different car, life is good. WIN-WIN-WIN. My only gripe is that despite having a a couple (2) e-mails with the salesman regarding the car availability (including the second mail that indicated our specific date that we would visit), it was only until we checked (the CARFAX!!!) the day before we were going to check it out (and most likely buy, given the purchase we made the following week) that we found out it had been sold to a dealership much, much farther away from us. Not a big deal, given that we found out before hand, but we would have appreciated a quick e-mail or call. This complaint (we didn't even buy a car from these guys so keep it in mind) is 99% on us, as we only passively pursued the car. That being said, some sort of call or e-mail would have been awesome. "
