Avg. Dealer Rating: (6 reviews) "Overall the buying experience was good, we dealt with a real nice youngman Jonathan which I felt was as honest as He was allowed to be as a car salesman. My only problem was with after getting into the financial office the next sales pitch begins, the extended warranties, first we start with the extra maintenance warranty which I declined, next we go into another warranty which I had never heard of before they supposedly covers tires, and all sorts of other things that could possibly go wrong with the car, the interior carpet, seats, etc. sounded good but I am always skeptical about these type of things, so I declined it , then the finace lady gave me a $500 discount on it, should have been a red flag, but she just kept on trying to sell it, i was under the impression that from what she was telling me that this warrantie was so wonderful I couldn't afford to pass it up, so I bought it, it was getting late and we needed to get on the road home so I just wanted to get the paperwork finished and get going, I asked if there were anything to look at as to what was covered etc., but there wasn't. Anyway after getting home the next day and started to look over all the paperwork I found the warranties and started reading on the back all of the fine print and I knew I had been had, needless to say I was pretty upset at that point espectially after going on line and looking at all of the complaints from these compaines Easy Care was one of them that had many complaints that when you try to get them to pay for something there is a lot of hoops to jump through and most of the time it is not covered for some reason are another. When I purchased this warrantie I was under the impression that it was another BMW warrantie which I thought had to be good, didn't relize and was never told that we are now talking about a 3rd. party companie if so I would never had purchased it. Anyway I made my call back to the dealer and spoke with the finace lady and was told that these warranties are not cancelable and that also it was rated by the BBB as an A+ companie which they are but they have had many complaints just because they have all been settled doesn't mean it was in the customers favor it just meant that they had been settled according to the BBB standards to keep there rating at A+, but that is easy to understand as well, I am sure it is a money game...... If you look at BankRate.com it will tell you exactly what these warranties are a big money maker for the dealer and useless for the consumer. Needless to say at this time they I am supposed to be getting a refund on the purchase price of the warranties the last time I spoke with the finace lady so we will see. So Beware when you purchase a car from any dealer they are selling these type warranties at all of them from the comments that I found on line and you are just throwing your hard earned money away for nothing. Do your research. "
