Dealer Rating: (4 reviews) "I want to preface that I did not purchase a car from Marc Motors, nor was I even interested in visiting their dealership after my numerous conversations with them. 1st off the listing was for a brand new model car from 2010 which I thought was odd, yet enticing. Being 2012, thought I would have some negotiating room. My initial contact with Marc Motors was to request more info about the car for sale. Because it was a 2012, I decided to see if they would want to earn my business (which dealerships all too often forget). Their sales technique was clever. A woman called me first, buttering me up, telling me about herself. She was really nice. She gave me time to look everything over and would "call me back" at 5. A man (and not the woman) called me back at 5PM. He was a salesman at MM. I explained to him that I did not wan to waste time playing the sales game. He proceeded to waste my time. Oh, how great they are at roping you in, wasting your time. I wanted a bottom line price from them. They wouldn't give me a number. After speaking with the salesman on 4 different occasions, and finally telling him what I wanted to pay, he told me he was unable to do that. This was about 2-3 hours later.... The sales manager calls me back 10 minutes after my final convo with the salesman and basically goes over the same crap. I told them I didn't have time for this and yet he was still trying to get me in. He proceeded to call me 2 or 3 times and when I told him what MY price point was (which he already knew) he told me he couldn't do it. Ok, then why waste both of our time by telling me something I've already been told?? I was fine that they couldn't match it. So the next day, the OWNER calls me and gives me some crap about wanting to get a car in my driveway. I decided to call him. I told him the EXACT same thing I told both the salesman and the sales manager. He told me the same thing they had -- that they couldn't meet my pricepoint. The bottom line is that I am the customer and I'm calling to see if it's worth coming in to really work on something. I will not deal with this company because: 1) They wasted my time when I asked them not to. 2) They didn't work for my business. (The salesman had a whole background story and then he tried act like they rely on volume which really helps people purcahse their cars at an affordable price). They didn't even try to neogtiate with me. 3) They try all of the sales techniques like preapproving you over the phone, trying to get you to come in without really letting you know that they are trying to earn your business. I was more annoyed by the entire staff than anything else. Maybe had I gone into the dealership, things would have played out differently. "
