Avg. Dealer Rating: (4 reviews) "Satisfied with the cost of the BMW-X5. However I feel that the service could have been much better. The dealer was located over 100 miles away. After initially driving there to see the car and placing a deposit on it the only means of communication was by phone. I had to call and leave messages numerous times for a return call. The sales person (or anyone else) was hard to get in contact with. Some calls were returned however. I asked more than once to be kept appraised of the status of the deal and requested to be called back by noon the next day to be briefed either way on the status. I never was called back. It took a couple of calls from me 2-3 hours later to get in contact with someone. I requested that an owners manual be in the vechile at the time of purchase. It is our 1st BMW and there are many items (including the computerization features - GPS, Bluetooth, CD, DVD player, etc.) that we are totally unfamiliar with. I was told that there will be one. Later, while closing the deal, I found that there was no owners manual but was told that they would get one and send it to me along with the second key, hopefully, in a couple weeks. On the WE OWE form it said "Nothing Due". The above items (manual/2nd key)were hand written in during our questioning. The Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Documentation was for the wrong car - a 2008 BMW Z4. In looking over the documents the next day I noticed this and called Rick Marine -Finance Manager, who closed the deal with us. He was quick to blame the sales person, Kyle Robbins, for not giving him the correct paperwork. I would imagine that a person(Mr. Marine)responsible for closing the deal with the customer would review all the paperwork (which includes the "WE OWE" form, the Certified Pre-owned Certification, etc.)and make sure that it was correct BEFORE presenting it to the customer for signatures. The sales person, Kyle Robbins, was very nice but was not completely knowledgeable about the vehicle we bought. We had trouble activating the rear camera and called him for help (since there was no owners manual). He had to refer to another person and was still unable to help us. We resolved the problem ourselves after "playing" with the computerized information area for a couple hours at home. Overall, I would hesitate to recommend I G Burton BMW to anyone. I am still awaiting for the "WE OWE" items (second key and owners manual), the Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Documentation on the correct vehicle, and the tags for the vehicle. I have reservations if these items will be received smoothly."
