“Good commuter car”
I've always liked Jetta's, but this generation is slightly different than previous ones. In one side the price point is not bad, plus it comes with 3 years worth of maintenance (we like this). On the other side, one can feel and see where VW had to cut cost in order to price their cars below the competition. Irregardless of the cost cutting effort...

"Noah and the finance manager were condescending and did not know the law about id needed to purchase a vehicle until I spent an hour convincing them, only then did they tell me that the car I had been looking at to buy was just sold... Then, I had a hard time getting out the door because of the hard sell for another vehicle -- suddenly it wasn't a "moral" issue to them any more. I would never go there again. "

"Our "dealer" was a complete rip. He had no emotion or good tips. He was rude. We took it for a test drive and was bossy and tried to tell me how to drive. We sat for at least an hour waiting for him to stop walking around and talking to his friends. Overall, the car was an OK buy for the price... even though it was a thousand over booked. "
