I read up a lot on full size trucks and took a few for drives. I settled on the 2012 F-150 with the Ecoboost motor, just because it has gobs of power and was rated with excellent fuel economy. I have not towed yet, but have hauled scrap concrete and misc renovation crap to the city dump with no issues.... truck handled well and did not sag with...

"Worst car-buying experience I have ever had! When I looked at all
the paperwork they gave me at the transaction after I had arrived
home, they had sent home paperwork from another
couple...including copies of what they were purchasing, copies of
their driver's license and there insurance information. I can only
assume they got mine. I tried calling 3 days in a row without a
reply. Then 3 business days later they said there was a problem
with the financing and tried to bully me into doing what they asked
or bring the vehicle back. It was at this time I told them about the
paperwork issues. They never apologized and to my knowledge
have not tried to straighten it out. Never again"

that I almost bought broke down with a blown transmission right as I
pulled into the lot after test driving it....happy I stopped by Maik Haik
or else I probably would have never found honest people with honest
